This is our first time here. We are from Florida and we’ve visit many Colombian restaurants but this one by far has been the best! From the service, to the food and the amazing desert. Without a doubt we will be back tomorrow for breakfast and in the future.

Food and service was excellent. This has to be the biggest fried snapper in the Atlanta Metro. Seasoned well and fried to perfection. Absolutely will be back.

From the moment I walked into La Ruana, I got that cozy, “welcome home” vibe — like a hidden gem tucked away from the usual chain‑restaurant hustle. The space feels warm and inviting, with enough room for a family dinner, a casual get‑together, or a laid‑back night out. The staff were friendly and attentive, and even on a busy evening things flowed smoothly. We didn’t feel rushed, and the service added to the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere instead of feeling like an afterthought. What stood out most was the sense of authenticity — this felt like a place rooted in tradition, with an honest, no‑frills approach. The portions were generous and satisfying, and it seemed like a spot that works whether you want a full meal or just something simple and comforting. I’d describe La Ruana as the kind of restaurant you visit when you want good flavors without pretense, a casual but nice vibe, and a place where you can relax, enjoy, and come away content. For a chill meal and a welcoming atmosphere — whether with friends or family — this place really hits the spot.

We came on a family weekend trip from Florida and have heard lots of great things about this place, well it definitely did not disappoint. Everything was great from the food to our waiter Manuel. Very polite and friendly. We definitely recommend this restaurant to any travelers or locals.

A little pricey compared to other Colombian spots around, but the food was delicious! The service is great and they play all sorts of Colombian music from vallenatos to salsa in the big screen in the back of the restaurant. Their menu is in both English and Spanish on a tablet with videos, pictures and descriptions in case you're new to Latino food.

The food was super good however I went early on a Sunday because I had to travel and I was trying so order a drink and the way my waiter reacted to my request made me feel unwelcome, he failed to communicate to me that the bar was not open yet and then as he continued the service he treated me like I had a problem…I would have love to come back for the food but I would rather not receive that type of service again. He didn’t offer any alternatives even when I requested a virgin drink simply he acted as if I had annoyed him. I honestly just wanted a Redbull at that point. The prices are also great and thanks to the kitchen staff for making the food delicious
